Everything Venoly does

This is the full list of what the app does: voice rooms, threads, a Home made of what you pin, themes, animated profiles, server backups, appeals a person reviews, the marketplace and built-in games. The tours below are the app itself; the catalogue is under them. Almost all of it is free.

The shape you know

Servers, channels and roles, ready the moment a server exists. The fragment on the right is the app itself, built from the same parts — type into it.

  3. Mochi20:44

Voice rooms that stay

Walk into a room and start talking. No scheduling, no link to share: the room is there all day, and who is in it is listed where everyone can see. Push-to-talk and noise suppression are in the same panel. A DM call sits above the conversation, so you keep typing while you talk, and stays connected while you move around Venoly.

Threads that fold away

A thread is one line under its message until you open it, so the channel stays readable while a side conversation runs. Open it, answer, and it folds back.

Reactions and polls

Any emoji, several per message. A poll inside a message, in server channels. Pinned messages per channel, markdown and code blocks, link previews, GIFs, voice clips, and pictures up to 10 MB each on Free, 95 MB on Supernova.

Five header actions

The channel header carries at most five actions. Everything else a channel can do — predictions, trivia, watch together, the canvas, the time-machine replay, a focus room, a listening party, giveaways — sits in one menu, the same on every screen size.

Thirty-one themes

From AMOLED black to Cupertino light, and a full custom palette when none of them is yours. A picture, GIF or video behind the app, the font, size, zoom, chat density and reduced motion are yours to set as well, and a server can carry a theme of its own.

Theme

Three steps in

  1. Create an account. An email address and a password, no card. We send one verification email; confirm it and you are in. That one step is why servers here are not overrun by bot accounts.
  2. Make or join a server. Start a server for your friends, your raid party or your fandom, or paste an invite link. A general channel and the default roles are ready immediately; add voice rooms and more channels in a tap.
  3. Invite your people. Share a link. They join, you talk. Any channel can be muted from its menu.
